Wes Neuman wins Orange County Political Voice straw poll!

ORLANDO - Wes Neuman defeated the 11-term incumbent, Rep. John Mica, as well as all other candidates in the Orange County Political Voice's straw poll! Neuman had 71 votes, to Mica's 65, for the seat in Florida's 7th District.

This was a large, non-partisan event featuring local, state, and federal candidates in Orange County. As a testament to its non-partisan nature, Rep. Daniel Webster, the extremely conservative Republican incumbent in the neighboring 10th District, also won.
